OA meets with General Dallaire

OA CEO Gavin Hollett met with Canadian Senator and General Romeo Dallaire — properly and officially, this time — last week.
Dallaire had very positive things to say about OA and the means that we are utilizing to facilitate social change, both at home and abroad: “Soccer is one, if not the best, of the best ways to promote reconciliation and unification amongst youth,” declared Dallaire.
Strong — and extremely encouraging — words from a man that is all too familiar with the struggles for unification and social problems of OA’s next target country, Rwanda.
Dallaire fully supports OA’s Project Rwanda and will be endorsing the project, personally.
OA hopes that this will help strengthen their relationship with the Dallaire Foundation, as Project Rwanda moves farther from the boardroom and closer to the soil.

My name is Randy, I am a Canadian and I am disabled Person. I believe that we can help. I did a fundrasing to by a handcycle for a man,that I never met ,but I heard he is a model for others. He is a fathere of 9 and he is walk in his nees since he is 3 years old. He is old now and I thougth he need a rest. I got the handcycle, but now I need to bring to Rwanda.
I discovered Aircanada let any passenger bring a bicycle for only 150 dollars if is a donation. Do you have someone that is going to rwanda and could do a favour to bring the handcycle to this man? I hope so. I am looking everywhere. I don’t have money to send it. Thank you for your time and I will wait for an answer.
